Sieg der Körperfreude by Wilm Burghardt 1940 Print with Dust Jacket

Translating directly to "Victory of Body Joy" or basically a body celebration book, this nice old copy has plenty of text, and plenty of photographs, ranging from ancient statues from Greece, to people playing sports or recreational activities while in the nude. Published in 1940 by "Geist und Schönheit" of Dresden, and written by Wilm Burghardt, this book contains 184 pages, counting both text and images spread throughout. The book has its original dust jacket with it, something not too common for a book of its age. The dust jacket is in decent condition, with a few tears present. The front image is excellent with its colors still vibrant and clear, with the back of the jacket showing some yellowing and patches of what appears to be dust and other natural grime. The book's cover beneath is in very good condition, with a small stain and mild yellowing, as well as some smoothed corners. The spine is very nice, with no tears or separations visible. Overall, this is an interesting piece from a much different era, one where the world fell into conflict for the second time.
