Santa Clara Pueblo Artist Elizabeth Naranjo Black Art
This is a nice piece of art pottery, made by Santa Clara Pueblo artist Elizabeth Naranjo. this piece is made from dark clay and painted black, with a very high gloss finish. It shows a very fluid design that moves throughout the piece, with duller depths between the highlighted, glossy accents. The underside shows the artist's name, as well as "Santa Clara Pue." A similar piece as well as others by this artist are present in the Santa Fe Gallery in New Mexico. This piece measures approximately 2 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter.
