Nordische Schönheit by Paul Schultze-Naumburg 1937 Edition

An interesting old book from a very busy period in the world, this book is filled with rather interesting images and text, almost as a body study of all things considered beautiful, desirable, or attractive in general. The title translates to Nordic Beauty/Northern Beauty from German. Written by Paul Schultze-Naumburg and published by J. F Lehmanns Berlag, München / Berlin, copyright 1937. Many images are within, ranging from portrait style images to full body images, and individual sections of the human body with images that contain ancient Greek statues as examples of ideal forms. The models used for the photos range from everyday people, young and old, to individuals in German Waffen SS uniforms, and many nude photographs as to be expected from the time period. The condition is nice, with the cover still showing integrity. The blue color is rich and vibrant, and the golden inlay text is fully visible. Only a couple of corners show rounding, but the others are still nice and sharp. The spine is very nice, with the title and author's name very clear, and the color still present with some fading compared to the covers. The pages are very nice, with a little bit of yellowing around the edges, but each page still holds a very clear image, or clear text. Overall, a very nice, and interesting book from a well-known period in time.
