"Forest Stream" Circa 1900 Japanese Fan Design Silk Screen Print
This is a very nice, circa 1900 Japanese fan design. This design shows a stream flowing through a small forest village. There is a good bit of fine detail in this design, with colorful accents which make this piece pop, with an expertly done stream which plays with perspective in a truly artistic fashion. This piece is signed with a stamp, with a label on it as well, neither of which we can find matches for or a clean translation. The overall size is 22 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches, with the main fan design measuring about 20 inches wide from the widest point, and about 9 inches tall from the widest points. Overall, this a very nice piece which is expertly done.
