1908-1910, The hoist plate on the wagon is "Denver Engineering Works" by T.J. Hileman although unsigned, these were all with his other signed plates, A very rare and unique “One Of A Kind” historical mining photographic image by a prolific photographer in his early days. I am sure I do not need to explain how rare this item is and how lucky we are that this glass plate negative survived even in the condition it is in (intact plate, corner piece missing) . I do not know of any other original T.J. Hileman glass plate negatives existing from his time in Colorado 1904-1910 before he moved to Montana to work Glacier National Park. About 10 years ago we acquired a glass plate negative collection in Colorado Springs that included plate negatives from Alfred Freeman, T.J. Hileman and a few others. Most existing material like this is in Library’s or Museums, A unique opportunity and one that will not come around again.
