1700's East Indiaman From Madras Painted by Robert Dodd Hand-Colorized Print

Here is a very nice late 1700's hand-colorized copy of a painting done by the English artist Robert Dodd. Dodd painted this piece, and also engraved it while others hand-colorized this piece. The full title reads as: "Portrait of an East Indiaman sailing from Madras. To Robert Preston Esq. M.P. Deputy Master of The Trinity House. This plate from the original picture in his possession is respectfully inscribed by his obliged humble serv." Signed by Rob Dodd. The left inscription reads as "Painted and Engraved by R. Dodd" while the right reads as "Published No. 22 Lifson Green, Nov. 1797." This piece is highly detailed with a good few, fully detailed ships at sea. The frame is in very good condition, with a few minimal wear marks. It measures roughly 26 1/4 x 20 1/4 inches.
