"Bugle Call" By Harold "Hal" Rice 15 3/4 x 13 7/8"

This is a nice, old painting done by Harold "Hal" Rice. This painting is titled Bugle Call, and shows a lone bull elk standing in the wilderness. This painting is of a smaller size, though would look excellent hung on the wall. It has a wood frame that has been painted white, with the frame measuring 15 3/4 inches x 13 7/8, with the canvas within measuring 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches. Overall, a nice piece. Hal Rice shares his creative efforts with a desire to help promote the value of history and preservation to our sense of person, place and community. Following a tour of military service in the U.S. Navy, Hal invested his VA educational benefits in an intensive study of Fine Art and design at the prestigious Kansas City Art Institute. Upon completion, Hal began work as a Commercial Illustrator in the Los Angeles Area. Several years later while visiting Colorado on a family vacation, the beauty of the state inspired Hal and his family to relocate to Colorado. He combined a career in interior design and fine art, excelling in these two careers. Sought after as a highly regarded Interior Designer, Hal traveled across the country from Park Avenue to the Hawaiian Islands, creating a legacy of beautiful residential and commercial interiors. From coast to coast, internationally, his commissioned art adorns elegant homes, lobbies and boardrooms. His paintings have been exhibited at the American Watercolors Society and are included in corporate and private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
